About Us

SCIM Netherlands Consultancy Office 'Holistic Integrated Community Development' (HICD).

The SCIM Netherlands Consultancy Office is directed by Mr. Wim Gijsendorffer who has worked for different international (Christian) organizations in several African countries since 1980 in the capacity of Coordinator and Field Director. He has built up experience in different (refugee related) integrated community development projects for more than 25 years.

Consultancy is provided by means of Email, Face-Book, Skype, Webinars and other social media.

Mr. Wim Gijsendorffer considers to make occasional field-trips to Eastern and Southern Africa to provide on-field consultancy, and integrated community development training by means of conducting workshops and seminars.

Publications

While serving in Zambia Mr. Wim Gijsendorffer and Mrs. Martine Nitrauw established SCIM (Share & Care International Ministries) College in Luanshya. They published about 100 Diploma and Certificate Courses on developmental, social and Christian subjects. After retirement to the Netherlands they continued the SCIM College as SCIM Distance College Netherlands in the form of distance learning through the internet.

All these courses are currently available by means of local and distance learning through our partner NGO in Magu/Mwanza Tanzania, 'LEAVEN CARE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION' (LCCF), They recently (August 2017) established

the LCCF College and the LCCF Children Home.

SCIM Netherlands Consultancy Office provides on-field workshops and seminars in Africa, related to holistic integrated community development on request. Location, topics of workshop or seminar, duration, administrative procedures and costs can be discussed by contacting the SCIM office in the Netherlands. SCIM provides an extensive reading paper for every seminar or workshop. A Certificate of Participation is provided as well.
